Please, is it wrong to tell a lie in order to help a friend in a difficult situation?- D.O.S (Uniben)
ANSWER
The first thing you should consider when you have any situation is to determine what the bible says about it. It is very clear from the bible that it is wrong to tell a lie irrespective of the circumstance or situation that surrounds it. The position of the bible will not change because your friend is in a difficult situation. If you really want to help your friend in a godly way then pray for a way out for him and you will be surprised at what God will do. If you tell a lie to help him you will be violating the scripture and I don’t think there is any reason that is good enough to go against the word of God. I pray that God will provide a way out for your friend. God bless you.

there is no need to compromise the principles of the bible. we must also be careful not to let our emotions lead us to go against the bible.it is possible for someone to lie in order to help a friend because due to emotionality. so we must watch it.
